Stronger Safer Florida is a nonpartisan coalition comprised of businesses, consumer and environmental groups from throughout Florida. This diverse membership seeks to protect consumers before, during, and after catastrophic events impact Florida. The coalition believes in:

• Maintaining Citizens Property Insurance Corporation as the insurer of last resort;

• Defending the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund;

• Rebuilding with Resilient building technology and codes;

• Encouraging Florida’s state flood insurance model;

• Preserving Florida’s environmentally sensitive areas; and

• Protecting consumers from Assignment of Benefits abuse.
